I feel like one of Santa's elves!!
I've been busy in my basement workroom accomplishing many tasks at the same time. You know how we woman are so good at doing that anyways!
I have several orders for embroidered monogram hand towels that I am working to fill. . . along with many other things I need to get done! I bring my laptop down with me and use it for my embroidery programming. In between, I can check my e-mail and BLOGS ~ yeah~~~!! Thank goodness for wireless Internet connections.
My great little machine just goes by itself. I program it and let it go. While it's doing it's thing, I can do mine :)
Yeah, a have a large pile here to finish, don't I?
Here's a completed towel with the wash-a-way stabilizer on the front still (it keeps the towel fiber loops from getting caught in the needle while embroidering). Just need to mist with water and one down, 17 more to go!

This is the basket I embroidered items for and compiled on behalf of the 9
Here's a close up of the items I embroidered on my new embroidery machine.
Here's our gals. Our 9
I'm not one to believe that teens should sit around and do nothing. . . so I signed up the girls to scoop ice cream for a two hour block. It's so good for this age to "serve" and not always "be served." The girls enjoyed the experience and the customers loved being served by cute little cheerleaders as well!! They were very good for business actually :)
Blessings. . . until next time,
Each mom will receive a personally embroidered, by yours truly, set of monogrammed hand towels for their guest bathrooms. My maiden name and my married name both begin with the same letter. . . so I didn't even need to change the letter. The towel in the middle is mine. I'm keeping it for our guest bathroom. I tried something new with this towel. It's an embossed monogram. You use the same color thread as the towel and it actually looks embossed. It is a little harder to see than the black lettering so I thought the moms would prefer to have something that "pops" like the black lettering.

. . .which are tucked inside matching tote bags.
Cotton receiving blankets with the baby's name and. . .
a matching polar fleece blanket. Gotta love that polar fleece!!
And. . . a few more tote bags. I have done many, many of these totes bags. This is just a sampling of what I've finished. I sell them for $6 so that's been a big hit lately. They are nice for gymnastic clothes, music lessons, library books, whatever.
